Dr. Nemani came to Capitol in May of this year and has been a well respected leader and mentor since he started. Originally from California, Dr. Nemani earned his degrees from Ross Medical School and completed residency at Seton Hall. After working at UPMC for four years, he moved to a skilled-nursing setting. Dr. Nemani is married with one child, two cats, and a dog, and enjoys photography, hiking, and volleyball in his free time.

Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner
Christina Ring, CRNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in providing palliative care for people dealing with chronic diseases. Palliative medicine focuses on improving quality of life for patients with serious illness.
As part of the Levos Palliative Care team at Hospice of Central PA, Christina helps to develop a plan of care for pain and symptom management as well as serving as a compassionate educator for patients and their families.
Prior to joining the palliative care team at Hospice of Central PA in 2021, Christina worked in the UPMC health system for 17 years as both a registered nurse and nurse practitioner. Building relationships with patients and families has always been the cornerstone of her practice.
Christina earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Rosemont College and her nursing degree from York College. She worked as a cardiac nurse at Harrisburg hospital for 7 years before graduating from Widener University in 2012 with a master’s degree in nursing.
Outside of caring for her patients, Christina loves spending time with her husband and their three children. She also enjoys spending hours in the kitchen cooking, early morning workouts and escaping to her family’s cabin in the mountains.
